Hide & Seek of the Week

This week's Collections object is a 1983 Row Boat Smurf! Smurfs were created by Belgian cartoonist, Peyo in 1958. However, these little blue creatures didn't gain widespread popularity until the creation of the 1980s Hanna-Barbera Productions cartoon The Smurfs.

  1. In the late 70's and early 80's I shared a house with several other young people and how I wish I still had the house Smurf collection or at the very least the Smurf photo album. These little blue creatures were our constant companions, where ever we went they came along. Bars, restaurants, parties, holidays, weddings...
